German Timber Series Wooden Window

Like many of our products, the German Timber Series has an inward-opening tilt turn mechanism. Optional features include security, performance and safety enhancements.

The German Timber Series offers a multi-chamber, highly engineered frame. Featuring the Airotherm standard system: the window sill is constructed in several layers with each layer grooved individually. As a result, this is our our best all-timber window for energy efficiency. With a classic and timeless character, it is a very attractive option for passiv haus and low-energy projects.

The A series offers a multi-chamber, highly engineered frame. Featuring the Airotherm standard system: the window frame and sash is constructed in several layers with each layer grooved individually. As a result, this is our best all-timber window for energy efficiency. With a classic and timeless character, it is a very attractive option for Passivhaus and other low-energy projects.

The D series offers a multi-laminated frame – utilising high quality, triple-laminated wood. Featuring a special nylon coated rubber seal and a classically-profiled bead as standard, making the option for attractive to conservation areas. The D series conservation wooden window has improved pretension, resulting in exceptional reduction in noise pollution.

The IW series is our best selling German Timber Series window. Presenting the options of both 68mm and 78mm profile depths, this standard German wooden window features a nylon-coated rubber seal and a rain rail with a large antechamber. This highly engineered timber product is a very popular choice for both domestic and commercial projects.

Oak, meranti, walnut, eucalyptus, larch, slow grown softwood and spruce are all available. We also offer unique heat-treated beech and larch timbers, which provide outstanding durability. These TMT timbers are the next generation of timber windows.

We also offer a massive range of timber stains to allow a very impressive variety of natural wooden finishes. In addition, any RAL colour is available internally and externally on a painted finish. Our automotive-style painting process then finishes the product to an extent that’s simply not possible by hand, delivering a wooden window that requires lower maintenance.
