Projects where the window colour is in direct contrast to the building itself really show off both areas of the build. The dark textured finish of the Aluminium-clad windows stands out perfectly against the white render to create a clean and modern appearance.
The slim and intricate terraced door handles continue the contemporary theme, as well as providing the practical friction brake option to hold the doors open at any angle.
Trickle vents were required on these windows, and we have used hidden vents to minimise the visual impact on their windows by concealing them in between the outer frame and the opener. The satin chrome cover, on the interior, matches the satin chrome handles and the ironmongery is consistently themed.
The flush exterior of these aluminium-clad windows, combined with the decision to avoid glazing bars, suits the project perfectly with clean sightlines and purposeful angles found throughout. Using top-guided windows also helped to conceal the hinges and maintain the flush design.
The result of this project? Combining this high-performance window system with our German installation techniques produced a secure and well-insulating home that will hold those properties far into the future. Explore this for yourself in the gallery below.
