An extensive renovation and extension to a local Cotswold home really came together thanks to our highest-performance Danish window. As ordered here, with triple glazing, STM Tinium reaches into the best possible bracket of Energy Class 2 in Denmark – far exceeding the current and upcoming requirements for the UK.

Most of these high-performance products have very chunky frames, but STM manage to achieve their top-end U-values using a frame thickness totalling less than 90mm on every edge. So, as well as the best performing, this product is also our 2nd-slimmest Danish frame option. An attractive combination!

Colour-coding the hinges to the frames assists the slim frame section visually – the lack of steel hinges breaking up the design keeps everything looking in-line.

We’re always in favour of a contrasting door colour. Creating a front door in a darker frame colour really helps create an entrance to a property. In this case, we can’t take credit for the door design! This came to us from the customer, and we loved it. This may have been the one part of the whole design that was obviously correct from day one and didn’t require any discussion!
