One of the main issues with sliding sash windows is the lack of airtightness. Traditionally, brush seals are used, which are worn away over time by the day-to-day operation of the window.
In contrast, Our S-series timber sliding sash window is airtight. Every unit features rubber airtight seals and an opening mechanism designed to move the sash away from the seal as the window is opened. This stops any wearing down of the seals.
