Natural Timber Finish

On a timber window, all standard paint finishes will result in hiding the natural timber grain. Depending on the manufacturer, there are a few options to give you that natural timber appearance. Whether lacquered, oiled or stained, these translucent coatings will show off all timber graining and engineered finger jointing will be visible. It’s generally recommended to only use these coatings internally, as maintaining them on the outside is far more difficult compared to a painted finish.
