Our range of Danish and German wooden windows is something a bit special. It’s where most of our factories started out their businesses 4 generations ago. Consequently, their wooden window manufacturing is some of the most advanced in the world and some of the timber engineering and technology is simply world class. The secret to the quality of all of our products is good materials.
We use only the best timber and all of these are engineered and many now heat treated. By doing so, natural wood sugars, which allow bacterial growth in the timber, evaporate off during the heat treating process. The upshot of this is that many of these products are class 1 durability: requiring a much lower schedule of maintenance than a traditional wooden window. Also, the process of heat treating significantly improves thermal performance. Our automotive style painting process then finishes the product exceptionally; to deliver a wooden window that requires lower maintenance.
Our options for heat treated timber and hardwoods mean that our timber window range offer some of the lowest maintenance available in a wooden window. Fully engineered German produced engineered timber, Butyl rubber seals and hi tech paint systems mean that the product on offer is world class.
